from the AAP
2007 recipient of a Fellowship Award
CHICAGO—October 30, 2007—Barry D. Wagenberg, DMD, who maintains a private practice in Livingston, New Jersey, is a 2007 recipient of the American Academy of Periodontology’s (AAP) Fellowship Award.
“Dr. Wagenberg received the award today at the AAP’s 93rd Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, for all of the time and effort he has dedicated to the Academy,” said Preston D. Miller, Jr., DDS, and 2006-2007 president of the AAP.
The Fellowship Award is given annually in recognition of distinguished service to the Academy in more than one area. The award is funded by Procter & Gamble Professional Oral Health.
A member since 1972, Dr. Wagenberg has served the AAP in many capacities. He has served on the Executive, Finance, and Planning committees among others. He also served as a member of the Board of Trustees from 2000 - 2006.
