AAP Foundation Education Funds

To meet the ongoing need for periodontal educators, the AAP Foundation administers two funds.

Launched with a $1 million commitment from the American Academy of Periodontology, the Education Action Fund supports the immediate need for periodontal educators by funding the AAP Educator Scholarships (for periodontal students who intend to enter full-time teaching at a U.S. program upon graduation) and the AAP Teaching Fellowships (for periodontal educators in their first three years of full-time teaching at a US periodontal program.

The Education Endowment Fund is intended to support over the long term programs that further the development of periodontal educators.
