AAP Foundation Events at the 2011 Annual Meeting

The AAP Foundation will sponsor fundraising events at the meeting November 12-15 in Miami Beach.

Fundraising activities at the Annual Meeting in Miami Beach support the Foundation's education and research initiatives. Be sure to stop by the AAP Foundation booth at the meeting to learn more about the dividends resulting from your investment in the specialty. Most of the events below require signup when you register for the meeting.

2011 Golf Tournament

Saturday, November 12

Cost: $285 per person

Join AAP Foundation President Bryan Frantz and experience a spectacular combination of scenery, championship golf and world-class facilities. Crandon Golf Key Biscayne and the style of play offers challenging fun for golfers of every skill level. Located on the island paradise of Key Biscayne, Crandon was the site of the Senior PGA Tour for the past 18 years. The course has been rated in the top ten courses by Golfweek, and one of America’s top 75 upscale courses by Golf Digest. The registration fee is $285 per player and includes round-trip transportation. Deluxe motor coaches will depart from the Loews Miami Beach at 7:00 am.

EV8: Estate Planning Breakfast for Periodontists and Spouses

Limited attendance event
An estate attorney will discuss tax and estate planning, including wealth transfer strategies. Back by popular demand, Jeff Wherry,managing director of T&H Financial Group, will share general principles of financial planning. The information presented will be of interest to periodontists in all stages of their professional lives and their spouses.

EV11: Kramer Fund Donor Reception

Guests will have the opportunity to meet the 2011 Kramer Scholar and finalists, as well as previous Scholars, over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $100 each for this special celebration of the Foundation’s first named award. Proceeds will benefit the Kramer Fund.
