CHICAGO—October 19, 2006–William V. Giannobile, D.D.S., of Ann Arbor, Michigan, was elected to his second three-year term on the board of directors by the board of the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. His election took place at the board’s annual meeting in San Diego last month.
Dr. Giannobile holds his Certificate in Periodontology and D.Med.Sc. from Harvard. He received his
Dr. Giannobile also serves as the vice president of the Midwest Society of Periodontists and is the Chair of the Research, Science and Therapy committee of the American Academy of Periodontology.
