AAP Foundation Provides Grant to AAL/ADEA Institute for Teaching and Learning

The Foundation provided a grant that funded four periodontal Fellows selected by ADEA/AAL.

CHICAGO—September 10, 2007—The American Academy of Periodontology Foundation (AAPF) recently provided a grant to the American Dental Education (ADEA)/Academy for Academic Leadership (AAL) Institute for Teaching and Learning. The grant funded four periodontal Fellows, selected by ADEA/AAL.

The fellowships were awarded to:

The ADEA/AAL Institute for Teaching and Learning was formed to develop faculty for academic dental institutions. It provides practicing dentists and new dental educators with intensive training in teaching methods and course planning, as well as guidance in how to succeed in the academic environment.
