AAP Foundation Elects New Officer Slate

The election took place at the AAPF's Board of Directors meeting in San Francisco.

CHICAGO, November 29, 2003 – The American Academy of Periodontology Foundation board of directors elected a new slate of officers at its September meeting in San Francisco. S. Jerome Zackin, D.M.D., of Swampscott, Massachusetts, and Sarasota, Florida, was elected president; Pat Allen, D.D.S., of Dallas, Texas, was elected vice-president; and Paul Levi, D.M.D., of Burlington, Vermont, was elected secretary-treasurer.

At the same meeting, Dr. Allen and Dr. Pat Patterson, of Macon, Georgia, were elected to their second three-year terms on the board. Michael McGuire, D.D.S., of Houston, Texas, Allan Charles, D.D.S. of Pasadena, California, and William Giannobile, D.D.S., of Ann Arbor, Michigan, were elected to their first three-year terms. Linda Tarrson, who has served the maximum of two three-year terms, was elected an honorary director of the Foundation.
