CONTINUING EDUCATION INFORMATION - CE PAVILION
Attendees registered in a professional category will be
given a 4-digit code at the conclusion of each continuing
education course they attend. Attendees need to keep
track of this code to properly record their attendance at
the course. Attendees will be assisted in recording their
continuing education credits at the CE Pavilion.
The ExpoCard, sent with registration materials, along with
the 4-digit code, will allow attendees to log into the CE
Pavilion to track their continuing education courses. Once
attendees have electronically logged their continuing
education credit, the Academy will maintain a copy of this
record for four years. The AAP does not send continuing
education credit information to state boards or licensing/
regulatory agencies. Meeting attendees are responsible for
ensuring that their education credits are current and on
file. Continuing education is offered on an hour-for-hour
basis for every hour of programming which earns CE
credit. The website where attendees can record their
continuing education credit up to 90 days after the
meeting (from home, work, etc.) will be listed in the On-
Site Program. It will also be listed on the Academy’s Web site
closer to the Annual Meeting. The American Academy
of Periodontology is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider.
Our thanks to Zimmer Dental for sponsoring the CE Pavilion,
ExpoCards and Registration Credentials Packet.
CE OVERFLOW ROOM
New this year, the Academy is meeting the demands of
the Annual Meeting’s most popular sessions. If a course
should exceed room allotment, feel free to visit the
overflow room, which will provide real-time audio and
video feeds directly from the main presentation room.
Personnel will be available to direct attendees.
